(0-1 Years) "TATA COMMUNICATIONS" : Openings for Executive Network @ Pune Oct 22nd 2012, 11:37 TATA COMMUNICATIONS (www.tatacommunications.com) http://www.ChetanaS.org (0-1 Years) Executive - Network @ Pune http://www.ChetanaS.org Job Position : Executive - Network Req ID : 16549 SBU : CSO Function : SD-Provisioning Grade : E1 Reports to (Title) : Asst.Manager/Manager Job Location : Pune, Maharashtra Desired Education : Degree in Electronics / Telecommunication Engineering Work Experience : • 0 to 1 Year of working experience in the relevant field • NOC/Field Experience preferred http://www.ChetanaS.org Key Objective / Purpose of the Job : • To form part of the Network Optimization /Customer Service Activation/Network Augmentation. http://www.ChetanaS.org Major Activities : • Design of TCL Product Features into network - Understand the Design Parameters, - Design the solution into Database - Clear ambiguity with NOC - Co-ordinate with PM • Network Augmentation & Update database - Understand network designs and plan the augmentation - Explain the plan to peers and team - Communicate with Field Operations, NOC • Network Optimization & Plans - Identify Bandwidth Crunch Areas - Plan Re-grooming the network - Update the database - Schedule the plan in OSS systems • Synergy with Team - Initiate network activities - Feedback to reporting Manager - Bring the team to the required level of functional expertise • Network Learning & Process understanding - Understand the network - Communicate with peer goups - Learn various tools & systems • Problem Management: - Identify critical areas of process/service deliver - Escalation to reporting Manager http://www.ChetanaS.org Requisite Technical Skills : • Knowledge of SDH /DWDM / SONET technologies • Knowledge of Ethernet/IP Technology • Knowledge of SDH Multiplexer's , GMPLS Requisite Functional Skills : • Knowledge of OSS systems • Hand On experience on Various Vendor NMS/ EMS like Ciena , ECI , Marconi , Tejas. • Written & Oral Communication skills. http://www.ChetanaS.org Requisite Leadership Skills : • Ability to handle ambiguity • Team building http://www.ChetanaS.org Requisite Behavioral Skills : • Aptitude to adopt new OSS/ BSS tools , • Committed to service excellence, customer centric, taking ownership of activities, positive and a good listener. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Flexibility, and openness to alternative approaches http://www.ChetanaS.org ..................................................
