• Should be able to adapt and learn fast.
• Should have enough engineering background to gain a deep understanding of KLA-Tencor's domain and working of its tools.

Responsibilities :
• Acquire and demonstrate technical knowledge of inspector software
• Develop and maintain software applications and also algorithms.
• Work along with engineering, marketing and application groups to innovate competitive software analysis solutions designed to address specific customer needs
• Do requirements analysis, architectural analysis, design, develop and unit testing
• Acquire knowledge of key use cases in defect inspection using WIN tools
• Follow KT defined software development processes

Performs any of the following :
• Systems: Responsible for designing, developing, troubleshooting and debugging software for operating systems, compilers, routers, networks, utilities, databases, etc.
• Applications: Responsible for analyzing, designing, programming, debugging and modification of local, network or internet-related computer programs for commercial or end user applications such as materials management, financial management, HRIS, or desktop applications products.
• Quality Assurance: Responsible for developing, applying and maintaining quality standards for software products. Develops and executes test plans and procedures; interfaces with software engineers regarding results of tests.
• Engr, Software: Works on problems of moderate scope where analysis of situations or data requires a review of identifiable factors. Exercises judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action. Requires a BS degree or equivalent experience.
