Roles and Responsibilities :
• Installation and Configuring of ADS on Windows 2003 /2008 Server
• Maintain user rights management, group policies, share folder/ access rights, account/profile management etc.
• Should be able to work in a domain/workgroup environment.
• Installing, Configuring, and Administering the client os like Microsoft Windows XP Professional and Windows 7
• Installation of Operating systems, software and tool for all machines and maintain a report of the installed software's.
• Maintain Antivirus software in all machines and updating them periodically with the latest patch and ensure virus free environment.
• Knowledge on Linux Administration like samba server, NFS, Squid, iptables is a added advantage.
• Experience on managing the linux proxy servers and providing pop3/smtp server access through the email client for the employees
• Periodical backups should be taken and moved to the backup server.
• Responsible for all the hardware support and the up gradation for desktop hardware.
• Installing and Configuring of TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS and POP3/SMTP.
• Outlook 2007/2010 & Outlook Express configuration and mail Backup
• Hands on experience on trouble shooting network related problems and should have knowledge on structured cabling.
• Installing and Configuring of TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, NFS, SMTP, and POP3.
• Installing, configuration and maintenance of the network and desktop printers
• Strictly adhere to the company policies and maintain confidentiality of the source code, backup and any software licensing activation keys.
• Maintain all system assets and have track with the current hardware specifications of all servers and desktops.
• Maintain system and server are up and running with less downtime and do performance tuning activity for desktops and servers and maintain procedures for all the activity done
• Coordinate with the employees with proper mail communication for any system/admin support request should be maintained.
• Installation and configuring SQL 2005/2008 and Oracle 10g/11g would be an added advantage.
