(EXPERIENCED) "SYNYGY" : Openings for Software Developers @ India Dec 9th 2012, 18:14 Synygy (www.synygy.com) http://www.ChetanaS.org (Experienced) Software Developer, Installation @ India http://www.ChetanaS.org Job Description As a Software Developer for Synygy, you will report to either a Senior Software Developer or a Software Development Lead and be involved in development and testing of features assigned to you in a release cycle. Responsibilities • Use new concepts and technologies to contribute towards software development by implementing and testing assigned tasks • Take an active role in learning and applying relevant technologies, tools and design concepts expected of the role • Take efforts to be a great team player by working closely with team members • Proactively communicate with senior developers and leads on progress and status updates of assigned tasks • Diligently follow the established software development processes and complete all checklists and milestones for every assigned task or feature • Help team members in maintaining legacy modules by taking up enhancement and defect fixes and writing unit tests for them Prerequisites http://www.ChetanaS.org Specific qualifications include: • Minimum 1 year of software development experience • Excellent knowledge of Java SE • Knowledge of Java EE (Servlets, JSP, JSF, WebServices, JPA2) is a plus • Good knowledge of RDBMS concepts, SQL and JDBC • Good knowledge of Ruby, Grails, Ruby on Rails framework • Experience with Javascript and AJAX • Experience with InstallShield, Install Anywhere or other installation tool-kits is a plus • Excellent theoretical knowledge of all relevant concepts, technologies and tools • Some hands-on development experience implementing small-scale projects • Excellent problem solving abilities and detail orientation • Superior oral and written communication skills • B.E in computer science or equivalent field Note: Synygy is not paying for relocation costs in connection with this position. http://www.ChetanaS.org ..................................................
