Position Summary :
• This position is with the Fluids User Environment development group.
• The successful candidate will be working on the next-generation ANSYS Fluids Dynamics (AFD) project - to develop a new System & Environment for the control and exposure of CFD solvers in the ASim environment.
• The work will be focused around the development of software systems and services that form the core AFD system, with an emphasis on software architecture, data structures, pre & post-processing functionality.
• The candidate would be expected to work well in a team environment programming mainly in C#, Python, C++ and interfacing with development groups in North America and India.
Essential Job Functions/Accountabilities :
• Design and implement the Fluids solvers integration in ASim environment
• Assist in the development of the Fluids data model in AFD
• Design and implement the translation layer to drive the Fluids solvers
Minimum Requirements/Qualifications :
• Bachelor or Masters degree in Engineering, Computer Science or related discipline
• Experience with object oriented programming & design
• Good software design fundamentals
• Experience in C++ would be beneficial
• Understanding of CAE/CFD
• Good communication skills
