about the role :
Provide level 1 and level 2 IT support to LP globally on LP IT applications. Also support development of light automation scripts for ABUs enhancing efficiency and productivity in addition to testing of LP tools prior to release.

Key Accountabilities:
1. 1st & 2nd Level Application Support
- Accountable for all aspects of the support requests for all LP customers for specific LP applications .
- Manage end user queries & requests
- Resolve requests at ones level or redirecting them to the appropriate support groups.
- Suggest ways of improving existing tools and the support process
2. Follow Up & Reporting
- Monitor and follow up OST tickets worldwide till completion
- Report on ageing and resolution time for all OST tickets
- Customised KPI reports for all managed applications
3. Testing
- Perform functional and user acceptance testing for new applications as well as periodical version releases.
4. Translation of Business needs into techincal requirements
- Serve as a conduit between the customer community (internal and external customers) and the software development team.
- Interpret customer business needs and translate them into application and operational requirements.
5. Light Development
- Build MS Access and MS Excel based light automation tools for ABU's and other LP teams.
6. Knowledge Management
- Promote best practice usage and existing procedures
- Contribute to procedure documentation availability and update on regular basis
- Contribute to the growth of Intellectual Capital Process by ensuring quality documentation (accurate) is published and maintained in the relevant repositories

about you : Knowledge and abilities :
1. High level of competency in all PC applications. Developing Experience in MS Access or MS Excel would be a plus.
2. Solid understanding of business practices with fundamental understanding of project management methodology
3. Excellent Communication Skills.
4. Ability to work autonomously within predefined tasks and planning.
5. Ability to engage and partner with internal staff/ customer as required.
6. Ability to ability to work in a virtual team environment.
7. Proactive ,attention to detail, excellent analytical skills .
8. Fluent in English ( French is a plus )
Education, Qualifications, and Certifications :
- University Degree in computer applications, engineering or sciences (electronics, telecom, networking, computer sciences)
Experience :
- 0-3 years of application development experience.
- Certification in MS Office Suite
