The Role :
• We're looking for hands on engineer, who actively wants to join a start-up.
• The role will involve ownership of business technology, to ensure a simple, scalable and intuitive platform.
• This comprises three large components: front end E-Commerce, Learning Delivery and Management, JobConnect- facilitating certified users' connects to recruiters.

Specifically, you will :
• Build each of the 3 components mentioned above, to end to end maturity - a large, scalable, fantastic user experience platform.
• Work as a part of the senior business team, to ensure the platform actively contributes to sales, CRM and growth of business.
• Plan, hire, groom and manage a star tech team; as well as manage all internal technology requirements (IT security, networking, h/w and s/w)
• You will have immense freedom to ideate, plan and execute. You'll be part of a high quality team, which is creating a great company from scratch.
• You will be located in the calm and beautiful city of Mysore .Note that we need a hand on, strong, TECHNOLOGY leader, and NOT project management skills.

Who you are :
• You have an engineering degree from a good college, with a minimum 5 years' experience - min 3 in internet - based technologies.
• Pure delivery experience will NOT work.
• You have started out with coding, and understand of good coding practices.
• You should HAVE BUILT COMPLETE PLATFORMS/SUBSYSTEMS
• You are strong in architecture and databases
• You understand web architecture, and how retail portals are architected for usability and scalability.
• You understand web application security features
• You demonstrate high skill in:
- PHP + JAVA / J2EE
- RDBMS (Oracle / MySQL), LAMP
- Design Patterns
• Your interest is in how technology can drive business, rather than technology for its own sake.
• You understand web architecture, and how retail portals are architected for usability and scalability.
