Position Overview :
• We are recruiting for a fulltime position in the role of a SAAS Operations Manager. The SAAS Operations Manager will be responsible for the overall availability & performance of our production systems against SLA. The SAAS Operations Manager will manage the offshore operations teams to ensure they are trained and ready to respond in case of issues reducing the overall downtime and any penalties. In addition to this he/she will also manage the relationship with our tier1 hosting providers.

Key Responsibilities :
• Hands on management of install, support and maintenance of software & hardware infrastructure for Saas deployment
• Responsible for ensuring that the environment is equipped with the right level of resources and is designed correctly to scale per business needs
• Introduce and manage right level of qualification and testing procedures for change and configuration management in the SAAS environment
• Acts as a liaison between the operations team, QA, Developers and the hosting company to identify and troubleshoot service problems
• Provide technical direction and play a lead role in architecting the SAAS environment to ensure that all the right security, backup, failover, alerting and disaster recovery mechanisms are in place.
• Analyze and resolve SaaS infrastructure faults and undertakes routine preventative measures as well as kick off new initiatives to proactively avoid outages.
• Use the product to manage the SAAS environment and work with the development and qa teams to enhance features and resolve issues as needed.

Minimum Requirements :
• Must have 5+ years of prior experience managing and scaling complex SaaS or Web Services environments in a fast pace / high growth environment
• Strong experience in Windows shell scripting and administering IIS and MS SQL
• Experience with high-performance storage systems
• Experience with monitoring systems and other reporting tools
• Strong Plus if the candidate has prior experience working in a developers role with applications built using .NET/Java / J2EE and SQL
• Works well under pressure
• Strong written and verbal communications skills
• Experience working in a rapidly changing environment
• Energetic self starter who shows personal initiative
