Applications are invited for engagement of bonafide Indian citizens for one position of Project Assistant (Level-II) for working in a project entitled "SIMUGLASS: Development of a synergistic Computational Tool for Material Modelling, Process Simulation and Optimization of Optical glass Molding", tenable at CGCRI, Kolkata.
Essential Qualifications: M.Sc. in Physics/Chemistry/Mathematics with minimum 55% marks. Or B.E/B.Tech in Mechanical/Chemical/Electrical/Electronics/Computer Sc. & Engineering with minimum 55% marks.
• Project Assistant (Level-II)
Name & Contact details of two referees are essential.
Desirable: Proficiency in Programming Languages (FORTRAN/C/C++/Mat lab/Lab view etc.)
Stipend: Rs.12,000/- (consolidated) per month.
Age: The upper age limit (as on 01.03.2013) shall be 28 years, which is relaxable upto 5 years in the case of candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes/Scheduled Tribes, Women, Physically Handicapped and OBCs.
Tenure: Upto 31.12.2013 or co-terminus with the duration of the project whichever is earlier.

The candidates should attach copies of their project thesis with the application, if any. Incomplete applications without prescribed format and supporting documents will be summarily rejected. The applications should reach this office within 10 days from the date of publication of this Advertisement and the envelope containing the Application must be superscribed the Advt. No. along with name of the position applied for on the top left corner in Block Letter. The number of vacancies indicated above is provisional and may vary at the time of actual selection. However, CSIRCGCRI reserves the right not to fill up any/all the posts, if it so desires. In case of large number of applications received for the above position (s), the Competent Authority may fix parameters for short listing the candidates. The decision of the Institute shall be final in this behalf. Interim enquiries in this respect will not be entertained.
