The Associate Application Developer will work with experienced application developers to design, implement and support production applications. The Application Developer will build a strong competency in business processes and application functionality relevant to their area. Demonstrates good knowledge of and adherence to IT processes and standards. Works well in both a team environment and independently. The Associate Developer is expected to demonstrate a strong desire to learn new technologies and skills. This individual may also be required to work in a team environment that consists of offshore resources.
- Participates in translating Business Requirements into Functional and Technical Design documents.
- Presents work for review and sign off by peers and/or management in his workgroup.
- Develops and tests programs and interfaces as specified in Technical Designs and ensures all programming standards and policies are adhered to.
- Provides production support of applications and is responsible for determining root cause as well as proposing and implementing solutions
