Job Description :
• Experience of 8+ Years primarily with MS SQL Server 2000/2005/2008, Oracle10g as a back end developer.
• Expertise in Database activities like Data Modeling, Database Design, Development, Database creation and Maintenance, Performance Tuning, ubleshooting, Replication.
• Experience in Physical Database Design and Capacity Management.
• Proficient in creating Index, Views, Complex Stored Procedures and appropriate User defined functions.
• Experience in Query Optimization and Performance Tuning of Stored Procedures, Functions etc.
• Experienced in handling large data volumes.
• Experience in creating and scheduling Jobs, Alerts, and SQL Mail Agent.Good knowledge in developing and designing reports through SSRS 2005, Crystal Reports, Oracle Discoverer and Excel.
• Daily support, troubleshooting, monitoring, optimization and tuning of SQL Server environments across entire system.
• Excellent technical and analytical skills with clear understanding of design goals of ER modeling for OLTP and OLAP.
• Involve in Partitioning for increase in Performance and availability of data, Index Maintenance and Defragmentation issues.
• Good knowledge in RDBMS concepts, conceptual/logical/physical data models, and Dimensional/Star/Snow Flake Schemas.
• Solid hands on experience with Data Warehousing tools, Data Analysis, Data Mapping, Unit Testing, Conversions, Problem Solving, and Process Documentation.
• Implementing and administering database replication between SQL Server database
• Created ETL packages using SSIS 2005. Created deployment scripts and sched.
