Role Summary/Purpose:The successful candidate who will report into the Regional Operations & Facilities Manager will be responsible for the strategic planning and monitoring of rental toolings within the region and the yearly inventory.
Essential ResponsibilitiesThe successful candidate will be responsible forthe following:
-Manage regional rental tool assets to optimize customer fulfillment, utilization and margin generation.
-Manage all regional customers owned equipment, including scheduling regular maintenance programs and providing suitable storage facilities.
-Manage and provide metrics on asset performance and customer equipment management to support management and operational decisions.
-Co-ordinate regional investment requests, linked to Fleet and Equipment management, to ensure alignment to business goals and budget.
-Lead/participate in business wide projects and initiatives e.g. Improve global deployment and rebalancing of assets to reduce out of region shipments; development of key optimization metrics
-Drive and enforce Regional implementation of global systems, standards and processes.
-Establish, manage and drive accuracy of Regional demand forecast for F&E activities, linking to the regional business financial forecast – both short and long term.
-Ensure customer and marketing intelligence are built into the process and easy roll up into global forecast
-Liaise with other functions to create asset and customer pricing strategies to optimize asset risk and return.
-Manage an extended regional team to deliver optimal customer performance and maximise business impact
-Leverage Six Sigma to drive improvement based on data e.g. improved on time delivery, increased utilization, re-allocation of stock to maximize margin performance.
-Help key internal customers in planning and maintaining flow of assets to ensure excellent customer support.
-Implement and run weekly and monthly operating processes to define production, issue escalation and resolution.
-Manage investment planning and provide expediting support with designated Sourcing teams.
Qualifications/Requirements:-BS or BA in Manufacturing, Operations, Business, Materials Planning or similar degree.
-Three or more years of professional experience with manufacturing, production planning, asset management, inventory management or materials logistics.
-Demonstrated knowledge and experience in manufacturing and distribution supply chain management.
-Strong analytical skills with demonstrated competency in Microsoft Excel
-Outstanding verbal and written communication, facilitation and interpersonal skills
-High energy level
-Change agent with enthusiastic approach.
-Excellent team player, whilst still being a self-starter.
-Fluent in English (spoken & written)
Desired Characteristics-Strong MRP knowledge.
-Experience in Oil & Gas industry.
-Strong project management and analytical/problem solving skills with demonstrated skill to scope and analyze. cross-functional problems and generate/implement solutions.
-Experience in service parts management and planning.
-Prior experience with Forecasting and Scheduling systems
