But what will I do?
Developers
Whilst you might feel you know what a software developer does, the role at ThoughtWorks is quite different to other organizations. Thanks to the use of Agile methodologies and the fact that we work as consultants, your role will involve a lot of interaction with clients as well as team members, consisting of Business Analysts, Quality Analysts and Project Managers. You'll be heavily involved in understanding our client's requirements, and be responsible for coming up with creative and innovative solutions to complex problems. A lot of our work involves holding workshops to elicit requirements so you won't always be stuck behind a desk. Learn the latest technologies through a detailed curriculum which includes challenging courses in Agile methodologies, object-oriented analysis & design and programming. You'll be beginning an exciting career in IT consulting, working on complex, interesting software development projects with other extraordinarily talented consultants.
Quality Analysts
As a QA you'll be responsible for ensuring Quality Assurance in the software we deliver to our clients. You'll get to work alongside truly talented teams and help them enhance their performance by bringing quality assurance to the forefront of clients' minds. As well as ensuring the bug-free delivery of bespoke built software, you will also be working with clients to advise them on improving their test processes and teaching them about the very latest from the QA world.
The Next Level…
We are currently seeking graduate developers and quality assurance analysts in Chennai with a Computer Science degree or technical equivalent. You need to have a minimum of 6 months to a Maximum of 1 year commercial experience of working with an Object Orientated Language. Both positions require a creative approach to problem solving, and the ability and desire to work in a dynamic and interactive team-working environment.
