Role Summary/Purpose
Engineer will work in Heat Transfer and Secondary Flow Design and analysis for Commercial aircraft, Marine and Industrial Aero derivative engines for Steady state and Transient Conditions.
Essential Responsibilities
1) Development of Integrated Flow/Thermal and deflection models for Gas Turbine Applications.
2) Perform Heat Transfer and Secondary Flow Design and analysis for Commercial aircraft, Marine and Industrial Aero derivative engines for Steady state and Transient Conditions.
3) Actively contribute in developing state-of-the-art analyses techniques for thermal design and follow the NPI process in project execution.
4) Consistent in meeting the commitments, able to handle multiple projects.
5) Should be proficient at developing presentations, summarizing conclusions/recommendations.
6) Communication and Interface with other design groups.
Qualifications/Requirements
1) Masters/PhDs in Thermal/Fluid Mechanics/Propulsion specialization with good Academics, Preferably from IIT, REC or Reputed Engineering Institute.
2) Experience in FEA Software like Ansys, Patran and Hypermesh.
Desired Characteristics
1) One+ years experience in aerospace industry with Good Knowledge of Heat Transfer and Compressible Fluid Flow. Fresh engineers will be considered.
2) Knowledge of CFD and CFD packages like Fluent and CFX.
3) Working Knowledge of Turbo machines
4) Programming in Fortran and C
5) Demonstrated application of Creativity and innovation in solving problems.
