Job Profile :
• We are looking for talented developers to work on the design and development of configuration discovery tool at SunGard Availability Services.
• The candidate should have sound knowledge of software engineering principles and design patterns and should be able to make well thought choices.

Essential / Mandatory Skills :
• Very strong UNIX shell scripting skills
• Extensive experience managing and maintaining revision controls systems, including SVN
• Tools/languages: Ant (hence Java), Maven, Perl a must. Ruby and other languages would be good.
• Ability to maintain and keep Bamboo (or other CI systems) running.
• Yum (or other package management systems). Prefer those who have extensive experience with Fedora.
• Knowledge of how to use and manage Amazon instances
• Must have worked with distributed teams. (** This role would probably end up collaborating with teams in all 4 times zones of the US + India **)
• Experience in white box testing and designing frameworks to automate these would be very desirable
Key Responsibilities :
• 5+ years of Build and Release Management
• Sound logical and technical problem-solving skills.
• Open to learn and work with different technologies / platforms.
• Ability to understand design and implement the same intelligently
• Ability to work independently
• Experience working in product based software development environment
• Knowledge of Agile / scrum or any other software development methodology
• Good written and oral communication skills
