Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities :
• Knowledgeable in all Oracle Financial, CRM, and Supply Chain applications (Order Management, Inventory, Planning, Manufacturing, AR, AP, GL, FA, PA, Cost, Configurator, Pricing, Quote, etc.) and able to work cross functionally across the Oracle applications from a financial perspective.
• Must be able to work on their own and initiate efforts to find the problem and implement resolution, as well as work in a team environment for knowledge sharing.
• This role requires critical thinking, extensive problem solving skills, multi tasking and the ability to research an issue and determine the root cause.
• Good understanding of Oracle Application API*s
• Must have support and implementation experience in Oracle 11i ERP package including Order Management, Manufacturing, Supply Chain and Financials, HRMS, CRM modules.
• Familiar with change and configuration management methodologies, the Oracle AIM methodology, and project management techniques.
Solid Understanding of software development life cycle
• Willingness to learn new technologies in order to perform the task at hand and ability to multi-task
• Experience with performance tuning of SQL (explain plan, tkprof techniques)
• Workflow customizations and development
• Resolution of user support tickets for production issues and system bugs
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Interaction with Oracle support for troubleshooting functionality issues (TARs/ SRs)
• Detail oriented, organized, and ability to work with minimal supervision.

Required Experience :
• A minimum of 5 years programming experience
• 5 years of Oralce ERP (R11 or above) technical experience
• 5 years SQL, PL/SQL, Stored Procedures
• 5 years in FORMS 6i/above, REPORTS 6i/above
• 5 years experience with Oracle ERP modules: Order Management, Oracle Financials (GL, AP, AR, FA,); Oracle Manufacturing (BOM, PO, ENG, WIP, INV, OE,); Oracle Supply Chain (Advanced Planning and Scheduling -APS); Oracle HR; Oracle Customer Relationship Management (Sales, Service, Marketing, CRM); Configurator
• Experience in a manufacturing or configured-to-order environment is preferred.
• 1+ years of experience in BI/XML Publisher development work
• 1 years of experience Oracle Application Framework (OAF)
• Exposure to the BPEL/SOA technologies.

Essential Job Functions :
• Provide technical support in the Oracle Applications to the end users, supports/develops code for the CRM and Oracle 11i ERP (e-Business Suite) applications.
• Provide front-line defense for problem-solving in these applications and sees a problem through to resolution, working both internally and externally to obtain the solution.
• Ensure that technical developers/analysts focus on business requirements and solutions, rather than daily problem solving in these applications.
• Trouble Shooting 1st response issues and requests. Issue tracking and resolution including coding, testing, modifying and debugging application programs based on the business requirements, technical specifications and standards, ability to maintain or enhance systems producing a low defect rate.
• Take support assignments from the Business Analyst(s), or troubleshoot an issue to determine root cause of the problem and provide a solution within standards and guidelines. This includes a full test of the recommended solution to ensure the outcome is accepted by the business before moving it to the production environment.
• When appropriate, will triage problems that cannot be readily resolved and assign to development team, business analysts and DBA's as appropriate.
• Work with the Business Analysts, other technical team members, and with Oracle Support through the Metalink system.
• Research various sources such as application experience, Oracle documentation, Metalink sources, knowledgebase, etc may be required to identify and resolve issues of varying complexity. Issues will range from simple training issues to a combination of functional and technical skills required.
Job Summary :
• As the Principal Oracle Developer I in the Oracle E-Business Suite Technical Support role, the candidate's primary responsible will be to support existing applications by troubleshooting issues as they arise, write, modify and debug Oracle E-Business suite 11i application code using Oracle development tools and the third party reporting/printing applications. This position with excellent knowledge in Oracle development tools, problem-solving and communication skills will be supporting the Oracle development team by taking care of the day to day system support activity, and have the big picture view. The position will be constantly solving issues/bugs, and spending a significant amount of time writing/debugging code, documentation and maintenance of the programs. This position will have the opportunity to grow the skills by being exposed to the full depth of support and development.
