Essential Responsibilities - Develop Matlab based control models, subsystem design specifications, failure modes and effect analysis, DFSS Scorecard and system validation specifications; Six Sigma and Tollgate process execution - Engage with other engineers on team expected - Interact with Marketing, Sales, Quality organization and customers per project need - Develop practical and innovative ways to identify and meet goals - Be responsible for work that is less defined in scope and has the understanding and experience to execute business objectives, which can affect short-term and some long-term business goals - Execute the design, analysis or evaluation of assigned projects using sound engineering principles and adhering to business standards, practices, procedures and product / program requirements - Document technical data generated by the assigned project consistent with engineering policies and procedures - Provide timely communications on significant issues or developments - Participate on teams assigned to address organizational initiatives and generic issues - Participate as a presenter or reviewer in technical and program reviews Qualifications/Requirements - Bachelor/Masters of Engineering in Electrical/Electronics/Instrumentation from reputed Institute/college/University. - 1 to 5 years of experience in an engineering position primarily control system design & validation - Experience in MATLAB Simulink for simulation and mathematical modeling - Aerospace / automotive / locomotive / electrical drives domain knowledge Desired Characteristics - Understanding of AC/DC drive technology. - Understanding of Communication system protocols like Ethernet, cell modem, WLAN (802.11), GPS - Strong technical aptitude, including applicable engineering tools and systems. - Strong oral and written communication skills - Strong interpersonal and leadership skills - Understanding of latest software technologies. - Experience with embedded control systems - Experience with locomotive operations - maintenance, dispatch, crew, signaling http://www.ChetanaS.org .................................................. Job Title: IT Helpdesk Analyst Reports to: Sr. IT Manager PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES 1. Level 1 support for PC client issues e.g. desktop/laptop hardware, software, OS, printers, etc. 2. Provide information on IT processes, general how-to queries and known outages. 3. When a problem is reported, the Help Desk Analyst must analyze the symptoms, determine the root cause, review Knowledge Base instructions, provide resolution and document the relevant details. 4. Escalate to appropriate Level 2 team when needed and monitor progress on critical priority tickets. 5. Follow-up with Level 2 support teams for timely completion of tasks. 6. Co-ordinate with third-party vendors like Dell and Canon for hardware issues. TECHNICAL SKILLS: 1. Thorough knowledge of Windows XP & Windows 7 Operating Systems. 2. Good working knowledge of Windows, MS Office & internet technologies. 3. Basic networking concepts, troubleshooting LAN/remote access problems. 4. Expertise in configuring and troubleshooting MS Outlook 2003 or later 5. Ability and willingness to learn quickly, keep knowledge current. EDUCATION & WORK HISTORY: 1. Minimum qualification: HSC (Grade 12). Technical diploma is preferred, but not mandatory. 2. Minimum six months experience in a technical support role. 3. Candidates with prior experience in a technical, voice-based process will be given priority. COMMUNICATION SKILLS: 1. High proficiency in English grammar, vocabulary and sentence structure. 2. Fluency in speech - Ability to hold a conversation with ease and minimal use of fillers. 3. Clarity in speech – Neutral accent, appropriate rate of speech, pleasant voice and confident tone. 4.
