• Experienced in using RMAN backup and recovery, conventional hot/cold backups
• Good Experience with RMAN to implement Backup/Recovery strategies and clear understanding of the data structures and architecture provided by Oracle for Recovery in all kinds of Disasters
• Experience in OEM (Oracle Enterprise Manager), AWR, Explain Plan and SQL Developer and TOAD
• Performance tuning of application with CBO, using SqlTrace, Tkprof, and Explain plan, AWR and ADDM
• Involved in proactive detecting, diagnose and resolve potential database bottlenecks before they affect end users
• Test and implement different physical and logical backup and recovery methods like point in time (TSPITR), media recovery, full / partial backup, export/import and Data Pump.
• (TTS) Transportable Tablespace across different platform.
• Identified performance bottlenecks like queries utilizing high CPU, Highest Wait Events like internal lock waits, redo log buffer waits. Resolved such issues by fixing code, tuning query and instance accordingly.
• Created and managed database object like user, roles, DB link, synonym, and index.
• Possess good Analytical and communication skills with the Clients and within an Organization.
