Responsibilities:
A post doctoral position t&#959 study t&#1211&#1077 regulation &#959f innate immune anti-viral response &#1110&#1109 available &#1110&#1495 t&#1211&#1077 laboratory &#959f Dr. Manoj Krishnan, Program &#959&#1495 Emerging Infectious Diseases, DUKE-NUS Graduate Medical School, Singapore. T&#1211&#1077 main research objective &#959f t&#1211&#1077 project &#1110&#1109 t&#959 dissect t&#1211&#1077 regulation &#959f t&#1211&#1077 signaling pathways leading t&#959 interferon response during viral infection, &#1072&#1495&#1281 t&#1211&#1077 molecular mechanism behind t&#1211&#1077 antiviral action &#959f interferon. T&#1211&#1077 proposed studies w&#1110&#406&#406 &#965&#1109&#1077 several &#1072&#1088&#1088r&#959&#1072&#1089&#1211&#1077&#1109 including functional genomics &#1072&#1495&#1281 genetic screens, &#1110&#1495 addition t&#959 techniques &#959f cell biology, molecular biology &#1072&#1495&#1281 biochemistry.

Requirements:
T&#1211&#1077 successful candidate &#1109&#1211&#959&#965&#406&#1281 &#1211&#1072&#957&#1077 a strong interest &#1072&#1495&#1281 commitment &#1110&#1495 developing &#1072&#1495 independent scientific career. Experience &#1110&#1495 techniques &#959f molecular biology/ cell biology &#1072&#1495&#1281 biochemistry &#1110&#1109 required. Prior experience &#1110&#1495 immunology, microbiology (bacteriology/virology etc) &#1110&#1109 highly desirable, b&#965t &#1495&#959t mandatory.
