We have a challenging opportunity for a Frontend Designer/Developer. Web Designer will develop projects from their initial concept to final publication. Person for this position must be detail oriented, organized, and be a clear communicator, and also must stay current with new trends in web design, including e-commerce and CMS interfaces. As a member of our team Web Designer will be primarily responsible for the design and development of projects under the portfolio of 1stFold WebSolutions. Executing design and development of sites to the highest creative, technical and usability standards. The ideal candidate will have proven expertise in designing tools as well as front end coding in XHTML, HTML, CSS, Javascript (jQuery), Flash and all the things that turn static design documents into modern, dynamic and engaging interactive websites and application. Required Expertise: Proficient with the Adobe Creative Suite with proven expertise in Photoshop, Fireworks, Illustrator, Flash and Dreamweaver
Expertise in coding HTML, XHTML and CSS, JavaScript, emphasizing table-free layouts
Experience with cross-browser and cross-platform testing and quality assurance
Knowledge of Ajax is a big bonus
An online portfolio demonstrating past work and a range of the skills mentioned above
Experience in template development for Joomla and WordPress
Understanding of interface design and usability principles
