Note: - The list of selected candidates published by the Commission in response to this notification shall remain inforce for a minimum period of one year provided that the said list will continue to be in force till the publication of a new list after the expiry of the minimum period of one year or till the expiry of three years whichever is earlier. Candidates will be advised from the said list against the vacancy that may be reported to the Commission in writing during the period of currency of the list. 3% vacancies of the post are reserved for PH candidates with Ortopaedic Lower extremities vide GO (P) No.43/2009/SWD dated 13.10.2009.
5. Method of appointment: Direct Recruitment
Probation: - Every person appointed shall, from the date on which he joins duty be on probation for a total period of two years on duty within a continuous service of three years.
6 Age:
Medical Officer (Ayurveda) ISM Dept: 19-40. Only candidates born between 02.01.1971 and 01.01.1992 (both dates included) are eligible to apply for this post.
Assistant Insurance Medical Officer(Ayurveda) IMS Department: 21-41. Only candidates born between 02.01.1970 and 01.01.1990 (both dates included) are eligible to apply for this post.

7. Qualifications:
1. A Degree in Ayurveda awarded or recognized by any of the Universities in Kerala or equivalent qualification.
2. 'A' Class registration in the Travancore - Cochin Medical Council.
Note:- For the post of Assistant Insurance Medical Officer in Insurance Medical Service, candidates with Diploma in Ayurveda of a recognized University or equivalent qualification will also be considered.
8. Mode of submitting Applications:
Applications can be submitted online only with latest photograph uploaded [Photograph shall be taken after 31.12.2010, the name of candidate and the date of taking photo shall be embossed on the photograph]. Detailed instructions regarding the submission of applications are available in the website of Kerala Public Service Commission viz.
www.keralapsc.org. No application fee is required. The barcode number in the application form shall be quoted in all further enquiries/correspondences. Documents to prove qualification, age and community have to be produced as and when called for. Applications which are not submitted in accordance with the instructions given in the website will be summarily rejected.
9. Last date for receipt of applications: 14/09/ 2011 Wednesday up to 12 Midnight
11. If a written test/OMR test is conducted as part of the selection hall ticket of eligible candidates will be made available in the website of the Kerala Public Service Commission. Candidates are instructed to download their hall ticket as per the instructions in the website.
12. At the time of Examination, Physical Efficiency Test, Practical Test, Interview etc, candidates shall produce their Photo affixed ID proof in Original and self attested photocopy of (Voters Identity Card, Driving License, Passport, Identity Cards issued by Social Welfare Department to Physically Handicapped Candidates, Photo affixed Pass Books issued by Nationalized Banks, PAN Card, Identity Cards issued to Government Employees by the concerned Departments) along with Hall Tickets.
