• Must have had extensive hands-on experience in C programming.
• Development experience on a RTOS (VxWorks, Linux, Nucleus) based network switching / routing platform essential.
• Must have worked on at least one of the following:
- Layer 2 LAN protocols like MSTP, RSTP, PVST, LACP, VRRP.
- Layer 3 protocols like RIP, OSPF, BGP, Multicast routing - PIM-SM, PIM-DM,DVMRP, IPv6.
- Layer 4 – 7 protocol optimization.
- MPLS, FIPS.
- High Availability Features.
- Management plane – SNMP, web server, CLI.
- Development of networking ASIC drivers.
