Latest SSC Jobs October 2011 for Science Graduate as Scientific Assistant Oct 2nd 2011, 13:41 STAFF SELECTION COMMISSION (SSC) Commission will make All India Open Examination recruitment to the posts of SCIENTIFIC ASSISTANT IN THE INDIAN METEOROLOGICAL DEPARTMENT. The selection process will comprise of a Written Examination followed by Interview Staff Selection Commission will hold on Sunday, the 18.12.2011, an open competitive examination for recruitment to the post of Scientific Assistant in Indian Meteorological Department, a Group B' Non-Gazetted, Non-Ministerial post, in the Pay Band-2 (Rs.9300-34800) plus Grade Pay Rs.4200, all over the country. Scientific Assistant :  465 posts (UR-230, OBC-128, SC-70, ST-37) (PH-10), Pay Scale : Rs. 9300 – 34800 grade pay Rs. 4200/-, Qualification : Bachelor's Degree in Science (with Physics as one of the subject)/ Computer Science/ Information Technology/ Computer Applications or Diploma in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering from a recognized Institution/ University or equivalent. Age : 28 years. Fee : Rs.100/- Fee is exempted for all Women candidates and candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe, Physically Handicapped, as per Govt. orders.
