Engagement Scope and Objectives :
• Consultant will responsible for the design, test, maintenance and the enhancement of multi-tier hosted web applications, written in high level languages (C#, VB.NET, JQuery, XML/XSD/XSLT).
• The Consultant will actively partake in all facets of the software development life cycle as needed under the guidance of the development manager.
• The Consultant will assist software architect in understanding, designing and building software systems in accordance to provided functional requirements.
• The Consultant will assist software QA management in the control of unit and functional test plans/applications for the exhaustive stress-testing of developed code and modules.
• The Consultant will re-factor legacy software to provide more flexible solutions aligned with corporate goals.

Consultant"s Qualifications and Requirements :
• Minimum of a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent degree
• At least 5 years of experience in web applications software development using the Microsoft toolset. Experience with Visual Studio 2008/2010 and practical understanding of the .Net framework.
• Experience with C#, ASP.NET, .NET MVC, Web Services, WCF, SOAP, JQuery, and other distributed technologies and architectures.
• Experience with XML/XSL/XPATH and related technologies.
• Experience with CSS and JavaScript.
• Understanding of Transact-SQL. Experience with SQL Server 2005/2008.
• Experience with Source Control tools. Knowledge of MS TFS is a plus
• Experience with any charting software is a plus.
• Strong understanding of MS architecture best practices.
• Understanding of unit testing processes and practices.
• Object-Oriented analysis and design skills, strong problem solving skills and excellent communication skills desired.
