Your Position :
• Esko is looking for a Senior Software Engineer position for Global Resource Center (GRC) located in Bangalore, India.
• You will be part of a global team to work on systems integration solutions.

Your Responsibilities :
• Analyzing requirement specification, carry out feasibility analysis and provide effort estimation
• Develop project plan, allocate tasks, monitor progress and take responsibility to deliver projects to meet schedule and quality expectation of customers
• Design the solutions, manage team members to execute and accomplish project deliverables
• Code, test and troubleshoot applications utilizing the appropriate hardware, software platform, database, programming tools and technology
• Maintain and modify applications; make approved changes and fix bugs as assigned from time to time
• Implement test strategy, deployment approach, maintain programming documentation which include commenting code and user guides
• Institutionalize industry standard best software engineering processes, practices and methodologies
• Provide assistance in recruitment, assimilate necessary technical knowledge and build team to meet organizational goals

Your Profile :
• Must
- Bachelors degree with 5-9 years of work experience in software development lifecycle working as part of a team
- Good analytical skills and self-initiative to learn new technologies
- Hands on experience with J2EE technologies and databases like SQL Server or Oracle
- Experience in designing and developing web solutions with J2EE and good hands-on skills with technologies like EJB, Servlets, JSP, JDBC, JNDI, JMS and JSF
- Experience in working with HTML and Client side scripting technologies like JavaScript, AJAX, DHTML, XSL, XSLT, XHTML and CSS
- Experience in deploying and administration of Web Servers & Application Servers like Apache Tomcat, JBoss, Geronimo, IBM Websphere and Oracle AS
- Good knowledge of object oriented (OOPS) concepts and design patterns
- Working knowledge of Web Services, XML and ActiveX controls
- Ability to work as part of a global team with good communication skills (written and spoken English)
• Desirable
- Programming with client side Java technologies like Applet, Java ME, Java SE, SWING, SWT and Adobe Flex
- Knowledge of Java enterprise frameworks and collaboration tools like Spring, JCA connectors, IBM Websphere MQ, Struts and Seam
- Graphics arts knowledge for Printing or Packaging industry is a plus
