It will be depend upon experience and profile of desired candidate. Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities:  supervise and co-ordinate activities of payroll staff.  manage payroll workload to meet operational requirements. ensure payroll is processed in an accurate, compliant and timely manner. direct the preparation of payroll related documents. Pays employees by compiling and processing payroll information; maintaining records and supervising staff. Balances payroll accounts by auditing information; identifying and resolving discrepancies; initiating journal entries. Updates records by reviewing and entering changes in exemptions, insurance changes, deductions, paid-time not worked, status, and pay; calculating vacation earned. oversee compliance with statutory reporting and filing requirements. monitor the accurate processing of staff appointments, transfers, promotions and terminations. review and improve payroll policies and procedures. oversee the maintenance of current employee data systems. ensure all payroll information and records are maintained in accordance with statutory requirements. manage and resolve issues relating to payroll production. support all internal and external audits related to payroll. Desired Candidate's Profile:  Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience of managerial/supervisory and Certified Payroll Professional designation preferred. In-depth knowledge and experience of payroll calculation and processing. Solid understanding of employment law, regulatory, and legal compliance practices. Experience working in a close team environment and providing project management/leadership for various Human Resources projects and initiatives. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to show strong initiative while working independently and as part of a team. proficiency in relevant payroll and accounting software. problem analysis and problem-solving skills.
