In this position, the individual will design, develop, troubleshoot and debug software programs for software enhancements and new products. They will develop software tools including operating systems, compilers, routers, networks, utilities, databases and Internet-related tools. Determines hardware compatibility and/or influences hardware design. Programmers who are developing applications for technical end users (e.g., CAD, CAM, CAE, CASE) should be matched here.
This position requires a BS/BA degree. The ideal individual must have proven ability to achieve results in a fast moving, dynamic environment. Self-motivated and desire to work as a team member, both on the same team and outside of the team. Ability to work effectively cross-functionally. Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines. Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.
