What you will be doing
Maintenance operation centre (MOC) - The team monitors aberrations in operating temperature on refrigeration equipment across the Tesco stores and pre-empts failures. It is their job to proactively inform Retail to act before potential break-downs thereby avoiding stock loss.
Our Core responsibilities also include :
• Monitor alarms for all refrigeration units across all Tesco stores.
• Analyze the alarms and outbound the stores to provide the details.
• Ensure the alarm details are passed on to the store within 60 mins from the time it reaches high or highest priority to avoid stock loss.
• Raise work order numbers in case of critical issues so that the engineer can visit the store and check the units.
• Manage the duty phone, as we get calls from the stores and contractors updating us about their works on refrigeration units.
• All these updates need to be circulated within the team.
• Handle escalations from the store by investigating the issue and providing accurate details about the alarms received and managed.
• Reports: Download and circulate daily reports, which include daily service level, total number of alarms received and managed, total alarms managed by each individual in the team etc.
• Identify and flag off process and work related issues to make the workplace better.
• Analyze the repeated alarms received from specific systems and stores, to recommend to the business about assets that need replacement rather than continual maintenance.
• Be accountable for the work managed and ensure there are no errors or escalations in terms of your job.
