Essential Functions
• Design and implement SW to manage & maintain our test procedures
• Design and implementation of White Box testing
• Develop test plans based on engineering specifications.
• Execute test cases and generate test reports.
• Develop scripts to cut the manual testing effort and improve overall quality.
• Work with engineering to resolve bugs
• Work with QA peers on multiple projects
• Track bugs on an internal database
• Conduct iterative ad-hoc and stress testing on various products to uncover as many defects as possible.
• Set up labs according to test plan
• SQA test experience with telecom [ SIP,Skinny, H323],
• Mobile and Network domains.
• Solid experience on Script skills – PERL, TCL,expect etc is required.
• Good exposure in programming languages like C++, Java
• Initiative, self-starter, results-oriented, focused, and team player
• Ability to work with cross-functional teams, communicate QA perspective and lead QA effort
• Willingness and ability to do what it takes to get the job done
• Demonstrated knowledge in VoIP protocols
• Proven experience in automation including advanced skills in scripting languages such as Perl, TCL, expect, etc. are highly desirable.
• IP network setup and knowledge required
• Experience in test automation and QA process improvement desirable
• University degree in engineering or compute science
