Primary Responsibilities :
• Experience with network programming, payment methods, social media integration, JSON, SOAP and shell execution
• Participate in all phases of development from definition and design through implementation, debugging, testing and deployment to ensure all work is to the highest standards
• Collaborate with a team of developers (including remote teams), test engineers, support and product stakeholders
• Take ownership for component design, development and maintenance
• Participate in code reviews and technical quality standards within the project team
• Carry out automated unit tests to ensure a high quality deliverable into QA
Skills and Experience :
• 2-5 years PHP development experience with focus on UI
• Experienced developer with broad understanding of all the components of a customer facing web applications
• Strong skills with payment methods, security in PHP
• Experience working with PHP frameworks like Yii, CodeIgniter etc (MVC design patterns)
• Demonstrated understanding of web applications
• In depth HTML, CSS and JavaScript, JQuery knowledge
• Keen eye for UI design a plus
• Experience with GIT, Eclipse
*Strong technical and communications skills
*Agile experience is a plus
*BS in CS or equivalent experience
