About the team
We are part of Money team in PayPal and this team works on the framework that every other point product at PayPal has to make a call to make the necessary money movements. So this becomes the back bone of any payments that happens at PayPal, Inc. and needless to mention it's criticality to run PayPal's business. We use C++, Java and Oracle technologies to develop this money movement framework and are in need of some strong engineers who can understand the criticality of this framework and think in making it highly available, highly efficient, add in ways to increase its scalability.
It's going to be fun joining this Money team where people continuously innovate, takes new initiatives, learns from each other and ends up getting multiple team & individual awards. Being at the core this team is highly recognized across the PayPal.

Primary Job Responsibilities
• Perform high quality software analysis, design, development, testing and maintenance for the client's core technology platform
• Work with PM/DTLs to analyze the requirements.
• Design and implement features.
• Follow good development practices and write unit test cases.
• Partner with other Dev and QA folks to ensure timely delivery.
• Product development, deployment and support.
• Mentor junior developers.
Job Requirements
• Well versed in understanding the requirements.
• Good experience in product development using C++, Core Java and databases such as Oracle.
• Expert in coding with best practices while developing code in C++ and Java Technologies.
• Development experience in Linux based environment.
• Object-oriented Design and Analysis (OOA and OOD)
• Very good in data structure and algorithms.
• Excellent programming skills.
• Excellent analytical skills and problem solving skills.
• Accurate estimation of timescales for their work.
• Aware of Agile methodology of Software Development Life Cycle.
• Awareness with the Quality standards and compliance.
• Good team player.
• Should be a self-starter.
• Great communication skills both verbal and written to ensure effective communication across product teams, functions and locations.
• Can make decisions without always asking others what has to be done.
• Ability to mentor junior developers.
• Experience working with remote teams.
• Flexible to work on any technology as per project demand.
• Open to work on the Live support duties which include monitoring, triaging issues and working on fixing issues on the Live support.
Education BSCS or BSEE or Other Related 4yr Technical Degree
