Some of the Autonomous Bodies also route their advertisements through DAVP. As a service agency, it endeavours to communicate at grass roots level on behalf of various Central Government Ministries.The origin of DAVP can be traced to the times of World War-II. Immediately after the out-break of Second World War, the erstwhile government of India appointed a Chief Press Advisor. Besides other things, advertising was also the responsibility of the Chief Press Advisor. Candidate Profile B.Tech/B.E. Job Description LDC (LOWER DIVISION CLERK) : 01 Pay scale : Rs 5200-20200 GP Rs 1900/- PM plus allowances. Age limit as on closing Date : 18 to 25 Yrs Essential : (a) 12th class pass or equivalent examination from recognized Board /University (b) Typing speed 35 words per minute on Computer or typing speed of 30 words per minute in Hindi will be tested on computer. Timing for typing Will be ten minutes. (C) Should pass Written Test/ examination/ Interview SK (STORE KEEPER) : 01 Pay scale : Rs 5200-20200 GP Rs 1900/- PM plus allowances. Age limit as on closing Date : l8to 25 Yrs Essential : (a) 12th class pass or equivalent examination from recognized Board/ University (b) Should pass Written Test/examination/ Interview TELEPHONE OPERATOR : 01 Pay scale : Rs 5200-20200 GP Rs 1900/- PM plus allowances. Age limit as on closing Date : 18 to 25 Yrs Essential : (a) Matriculate or equivalent with English as compulsory subject. (b) Should pass Written Test/ examination/ Interview . (C ) Proficiency in handling in PBX board. Desirable : (a) Fluency in spoken English. CMD (CIVILIAN MOTOR DRIVER) : 02 Pay scale : 5200-20200 GP Rs 1900/- PM plus allowances. Age limit as on closing Date : 18 to 27 Yrs (a) Matriculation or equivalent (b) Must possess the civilian driving licence , for heavy vehicles. and have two years experience of driving such vehicles.
