Job Details : • Experience : 5 to 8 years • Location : Bangalore, Karnataka • Functional area : IT Software - System Programming • Role : Team/Technical Lead • Keywords : C, Unix, Linux • Online Assessment : No • Job type : Permanent http://www.ChetanaS.org Job Description : • 3+ years Linux- or UNIX-based software development • 5+ years of hands-on systems software development in C • Thorough knowledge of operating systems and unix/linux internals, expert level experience with algorithms, the language and development environments • Expert-level debugging skills • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, including the ability to represent Red Hat in public or customer-facing forums • Execute on complex software development projects independently with limited guidance from architects • Experience in Systems Software Development, experience developing client / server applications • Experience in asynchronous and/or synchronous replication technologies • A creative, nimble thinker who will contribute heavily to the software architecture • Experience working with a worldwide distributed software development team • At minimum, a BE or BTech in Computer Science or IT Job Responsibilities : • Experience developing software for Storage, SAN or NAS products or applications • Experience with Agile development processes, Scrum in particular • Experience with and contributions to open-source communities • Experience in Python programming • Linux/Unix kernel development • Linux FUSE-based development • Test-driven development • Storage device development such as storage / NAS arrays • Creating or developing an open-source community • Performance and scalability engineering http://www.ChetanaS.org ..................................................
