Job Details : • Experience : 6 to 8 years • Location : Pune, Maharashtra • Functional area : Accounts / Finance / Tax / CS / Audit • Role : Other • Keywords : Payroll, Statutory, Oracle, Excel • Online Assessment : No • Job type : Permanent http://www.ChetanaS.org Job Description : • Complete the end to end Payroll processing activity • Ensuring the timelines are met as per the Payroll Calendar • Ensuring statutory compliances (like PT, PF, TDS etc.) related to payroll • Proactive communication (Internal/External) in case of any issues/concerns • Ability to resolve employee queries related to payroll • Preparation, verification and uploading of monthly payroll journal entries in the Company accounting system • Calculation of tax on employee RSU and ESOP • Assist in preparation of flux analysis for payroll for month end, quarter end and year-end financial statements • Prepare assigned payroll schedules for quarterly reviews and annual audit • Work closely with the HR for inputs and information • Work closely with outsourced payroll services provider and check accuracy of reports and salary register provided by payroll firm with the input provided by HR on a monthly basis • Handle an employee strength of 500+ employees • Ability to work under pressure and meet stringent deadlines Job Responsibilities : • Bachelor's degree required in Accounting • 6-8 years of experience in handling payroll of a mid-sized/large organisation • Experience in Oracle is preferred • Competence with applications including MS Excel, Word • Good oral and written English skills essential • Experience in IT / Telco industry good-to-have.
