Additionally, the purpose of the role is to manage legal risk through the appropriate handling of day-to-day legal matters and raise awareness of legal risk to the business units. Responsibilities • Provide corporate legal advice including corporate housekeeping and restructuring of group companies (corporate transactions) • Manage and negotiate distribution arrangements in respect of investment products with distributors • Conduct broad range of contract work • Over time responsibility for management and development of specific project work, including the management of external counsel in Switzerland and abroad • Remain up-to-date with relevant legal and regulatory developments with a view to inform the business on the impact of such developments and support the business with the interpretation/advice of such new developments • The position reports to the Head Legal Switzerland Requirements • Swiss qualified lawyer (level of 'Master', bar admission an asset) • Comprehensive knowledge of Swiss corporate and contract law • Excellent German and English skills • Professional experience of 2-4 years (major law firm and/or financial services industry) • Knowledge of UK legal system and/or LL.M. welcomed • Good interpersonal and relationship management skills • Skill to influence others with sound legal advice Please send your CV to jean@approachpeople" |
