View company name and apply directly at: http://bit.ly/qe0Dir Job Description: Position Highlights Mooreland's leading position in the technology M&A space and unique global footprint provides analysts with exceptional transaction experience: • Wide exposure throughout the technology ecosystem – Mooreland has completed transactions in IT services, enterprise software, hardware (semiconductor / consumer electronics), communications, mobile, digital media, and clean technology • Strong deal flow – successfully closed 20 transactions over the past 18 months, with current pipeline at record levels • Direct access to senior bankers and client – analysts are expected to take proactive and leadership roles on their deal teams to help drive deal execution, going well beyond spreadsheets and powerpoint presentations • Extensive cross-border M&A expertise – the majority of transactions are cross-border (deal teams are typically staffed across offices), resulting in frequent opportunities for international experience and travel • Deep relationship with blue-chip technology leaders such as Apple, Google, Alcatel-Lucent, Amdocs, Qualcomm, IBM, Nokia, VeriSign, etc… Qualifications • 1-2 years of post-undergraduate experience in investment banking / research / management consulting / corporate development / accounting, although the firm is open to considering candidates from other disciplines who have directly relevant finance experience (note that this is a pre-MBA position) • Recent graduates with exceptional internship experience will also be considered • Proven and demonstrable analytical capabilities, superior communication skills, experience in conducting research, and a strong fundamental level of finance and accounting knowledge • Demonstrated interest and knowledge in the technology sector are preferred • Fluency in multiple languages, although not required, would be viewed favorably" Go see this job post » Don't want to get activity notifications: Change your following people settings » Learn more about following people's activity LinkedIn values your privacy.
